Derbigum produces sustainable and 100% recyclable roofing membranes that are CO2-absorbant. The roofing finish is olivine, one of the most abundant minerals on the planet. When it rains, the CO2 from the atmosphere will come into contact with the olivine on the roof. There will then be a chemical reaction that neutralizes the CO2. The residual product of this reaction is a mixture of silicon dioxide (sand) and magnesium carbonate: two substances that are harmless to the environment.
