Their innovative carbonation technology, Carbstone Innovation, aims to produce building materials with a very low environmental impact and negative CO2 emission. Among these, Orbix developed Carbinox®, which is a fine material that can absorb CO2 from the air and has carbonatable properties. Therefore, Carbinox® can be used perfectly in carbonation processes to subsequently manufacture all kinds of building materials - such as clinkers and building blocks. Carbinox® is also extremely suitable for applications with cement-bound foundations.
